Meet the Artist
As an introvert, I've grown up expressing myself to others through the form of hand-written letters. Eventually I started writing these letters on the back of my paintings. I found it both exciting and rewarding to create something for loved ones using a number of creative outlets.
As an artist, I've found painting to be one of my most favorite forms of expression. I've gone back and forth over the years in determining what kind of artist I want to be - as all artists do - but I have always known that I want my art to make a statement.
As an environmentalist, I found my statement. Art isn't just about the end result. It's about the process from start to finish. I strive to go about my process with a foundational appreciation and respect for mother nature.
As a small business, I value community and I SO appreciate you being here to join ours!

Simply Pine believes that - first and foremost - consumerism is harming our planet. Thus, I value the reduction and reuse of materials in the art-making process. The artworks you find here may not include 100% "environmentally friendly" materials but largely secondhand materials so as to use up what goods already exist on our planet and are not otherwise being used.
